Pilots can start their revelries early in the week, with pre-mixers taking place at three super nice establishments in downtown Reykjavik. This gives Fanfest attendees arriving early the chance to meet up and break the ice over a drink or three.
Monday’s pre-mixer will take place at the English Pub in Lækjargata. A popular sports bar featuring most major sporting events on big screens and live music every night, the English Pub also offers a very large selection of beer and whisky.
On Tuesday, early-arrivals will meet up at Lebowski Bar on Laugavegur, one of the most colorful and popular hangouts in town. Themed after the cult classic The Big Lebowski, the bar offers a wonderful drink selection and very tasty food.
The setting for Wednesday’s hangout is Mál & menning, a jazz café and former book store on Laugavegur. Ever popular for live music, stand-up comedy and more, this place has become a local favorite.
The ever-popular karaoke night hosted by Tweetfleet will make it’s triumphant return, as ever, at Gaukurinn, on Wednesday. This event offers the rare chance to masterfully convince your alliance leader, favorite fleet commander or CCP developer to display their prowess of the microphone, or lack thereof.
