Hello spacefriends and welcome to the Community Beat! As always there's a bunch of awesome content coming out of the EVE Online community. Let's see what's good!
It is understood by the coolest and most influential EVE Online players that Syndicate is actually the best region in New Eden. Over the last 23 years the region has been through multiple golden eras where it has been a hotbed of PvP activity and acted as an incubator for fledgling alliances who used the region as a proving ground to develop into a force which could then take on the challenge of carving out a name for themselves in sov null. Many of EVE Online's most respected and - some would say - handsome players would cut their teeth in Syndicate, earning their first green killboards and began to build their fortunes there. That's just what I've been told by FC Convict though, it could be referring to anyone, really.
One player who understands the significance of Syndicate is El Geo, aka Lloyd George who is renowned for his amazing EVE watercolor paintings and has been featured in the Beat many times. Not content to just paint the majesty of New Eden, El Geo wants to contribute to it in the form of an event he has organized called the Syndicate DMZ. He writes:
Syndicate has always been one of the coolest NPC regions in EVE, and it’s time to drag it back into the spotlight. On September 26th, we’re turning the region into an open warzone. Combat bounties will be active all day long, and we’re carving out a dedicated 5-hour operational window where high-stakes industry and exploration rewards go live, creating a true sandbox DMZ where industrialists, explorers, and killers alike can all get paid to have fun!
This weekend there will be bunch of activities to get involved with in Syndicate; not just PvP but PvE including mining as well, presented as Freelance Projects with a bunch of ISK up for grabs. Additionally there are other prizes for various activities. Check out the forum post for more information.
So head to Syndicate this weekend and be a part of its next renaissance!
Syndicate isn't the only place for action this weekend - there's also an organized brawl going down in Amamake on Saturday to celebrate birthday of corporation Primal Instinct Inc. who are currently part of The Initiative. Hiashi Yenzyne writes:
Our corp and others will be gathering in Amamake around 22:30 EVE time on 9/26/26 and when we are ready, we will be hitting grid somewhere within the system with battleships, a few caps and other fun things! Word on the streets is that Warlock Industries will be conjuring up a Nyx, and allegedly other really cool people are eyeballing their toys as well! The hope is for everyone to just brawl, slug it out and overall have a good time, I will wave my fist very angrily at you if you kite out all fight!
So gather your fleets and head along for what promises to be an epic slobberknocker and paint the killboard green!
Do you like sickeningly adorable EVE things? Well, we know you do because of the amount of thoroughly unsuitable alliance logos you submit to us every week which we have to reject. Oh God, please make it stop. We beg you - no more anime waifu alliance logos.
Sorry, I got sidetracked for a moment.

These haven't yet shown up in his authorized Etsy store, but perhaps if they get enough love they might!
One thing we can rely on from the EVE community is an abundance of awesome videos whether they be cinematic, funny or exhibitions of PvP prowess.
We'll start off with the first video from famed EVE Online alliance Rooks and Kings in... checks notes.... EIGHT YEARS?! Holy heck. Although this video is about RnK's recent exploits in our sister game EVE Frontier it draws many parallels to EVE Online and has been exquisitely constructed with their customary narrative flair.
Next up it's Alliance Tournament season and now that the Preliminaries are over we're in the calm before the storm of the AT finals which are coming up at the end of October. Bombeldo the Wizard brings us this compelling documentary of his team's experience fighting their way through the gauntlet of the prelims, giving us behind the scenes insights into their journey and showcasing AT battles from their POV with live comms.
Changing gears to this video from New Eden Today, a newcomer to the EVE content landscape who will be covering the "news, events and politics of New Eden". Their first video covers the destuction of the WinterCo staging Keepstar in 4-HWWF. The video is incredibly well made, informative and fills an important role in the EVE content ecosystem. We can't wait to see what stories they follow up with in the future.

And then this compilation from Verdict from HYDRA.
Next up is a video not from an EVE content creator but a team up from two HUGE Youtubers - How Money Works and Micro taking a look at the impressive economy of EVE Online. The video had already garnered over 2.3 million views and features EVE player and CSM member Itaer. If you ever need to show your friend, family or spouse a video about EVE Online to get the point across that internet spaceships is serious business then this is an ideal candidate.
And just in case you were wondering - The Oz denies he actually has that much ISK.
