Greetings spacefriends, and welcome to the final Community Beat of 2025! As the year winds down and we settle into the holiday season, New Eden has been anything but quiet. You've been celebrating through snowball fights, creating festive art and even by sacrificing the occasional capital ship in the name of a birthday party.
Before we jump into the new year, let's take one last look at what the community is up to.
As we mentioned in the last Community Beat, Commander A9 once again brought capsuleers together for the 12th Annual Luminaire Snowball Fight, turning the system into a true display of festive chaos. SLOW COMMUNITY was on grid to capture some great visuals.

Remaining on the topic of celebrations, Warlock Industries threw a birthday party in the system of Misaba. To mark the occasion, he undocked multiple capital ships, before ending the event with a bang when his Avatar was destroyed.
While there’s no video report on his YouTube channel just yet, these screenshots capture some of the fun.
This holiday season also did not fail to inspire capsuleers to get creative, each putting their own spin on winter in New Eden.
Khezu night shared an amazing Christmas scene on the EVE subreddit, capturing a cozy and festive vibe.

Creativity in New Eden doesn't stop with artwork. Behind the scenes, third-party developers continue to build, maintain, and expand the tools that we all rely on. Here are a few notable updates.
Developed by Prozn Zanjoahir, EVE SovMap is a tool for mapping sovereignty, tracking campaigns, and detecting fleets.
Xaroth.nl does a great job showcasing public freelance jobs, sorted by activity. This stream updates every few seconds and offers a fascinating look at just how active freelance jobs are.
RIFT has also rolled out an update, expanding the tool to incorporate freelance jobs. Check out the demo:
Finally, the ore table on Cerlestes.de received an update following the Catalyst expansion, updating the data to reflect the latest changes.

Before the year truly comes to a close, the long-running EVE Glasgow player meetup returns at the end of the month for what promises to be a festive meet. It will be held at the Hillhead Bookclub from 14:00 local time on Saturday, 27 December.
