Monthly Economic Report - July 2026

by EVE Online Economic Council12:45pm on Friday 7th August 2026

Chart-enthusiasts, the MER for July 2026 is here!

The MER for July will look the same, but under the hood we've made several changes to make the MER far easier to maintain, debug, publish, and create.

The following four plots have been removed:

  • Decomposition of Consumer Price Index

  • Decomposition of Mineral Price Index

  • Decomposition of Primary Producer Price Index

  • Decomposition of Secondary Producer Price Index

We have also corrected several minor issues in the Moon Material datasets and standardized the naming conventions across graphs and CSV files.

Going forward, we will maintain the updated naming convention, so we expect this to be the last change of this kind for the foreseeable future.

Economic Trends

  • Expected summer seasonality is evident in the July economic data, with many of the declining measures in this month’s report likely reflecting the seasonal slowdown in activity. As the summer vacation period comes to an end, activity should normalize and strengthen over the coming weeks.

  • Production Value increased, while Mining Value declined.

  • Money Supply decreased.

  • The Mineral Price Index decreased by 5.5%.

  • The Module Price Index maintained its upward trend.
