Mission briefing We've had increasing reports of hostile activity within our borders in the past months, and I've been ordered to take a look into the matter. One of these reports came from a group of miners scouring the Veldspar belts in the outer regions of ***. They claimed to have seen a large ore convoy heading away from one of the belts, consisting of ships which appeared to be of Gallentean origin. Their escort attacked them immediately, but they escaped unharmed. My best guess would be that these hostiles are in fact pirates, but what intrigued me is that their ships did not appear to match the description of any pirate organization known to infest ***.

I want you to take a look into this, ***. Fly to the asteroid belt where the miners were attacked. Wait there for a while, and see if any hostiles show up. If they do, destroy them but try to take back someone from their ranks alive for questioning.

Tips
  • N3 showed up about 5 minutes after N1 and N2. might be triggered by proximity, but cannot be sure. Also
  • they did not attack on my warp, but that might be because I warped in at 100km away from the beacon. (Vex Zem'Satar)

5:24am 2006 Sunday 26th November 2006 One way of destroying those Gallente Delta II Support Frigates is to use medium smartbombs. Thats what I use with my Moa. You can also web them and use small or medium blasters at them.

1:33am 2006 Sunday 19th November 2006 The Delta II Support Frigates are insane - they're incredibly fast, they're hard to hit, and they repair their armor.

Fortunately, you don't have to kill them - just kill the Navy Officer and his Atrons escort (pretty easy if you string them out) without getting too close to the Support Frigates and Soldiers.

If you get mixed up with the frigates, warp away and come back about 60km away and work your way around so you can get the Navy Officer and Atrons by themselves.
