Mission briefing The Khanid King himself has recently decreed that all travelers flying through Khanid space, who are in any way affiliated with the Minmatar Republic, must pay an extra sum of credits over the standard tolls imposed on every other traveler. He claims this was done to pay for the increased budget of his security forces, which he also claims was raised because of a few 'terrorist acts' committed in the Kingdom. These acts were actually committed by the Minmatar Freedom Fighter organization and in no way supported by the Minmatar Republic, although our leaders did not condemn the attacks either as they were meant to force the Khanid to release a number of high profile Minmatar slaves which they illegally kidnapped from a few outlying Minmatar solarsystems many years ago.

Because of this outrageous act by the Khanid, we have been given the green light for further attacks on Khanid assets. We know of a few wealthy Khanid entrepeneurs who own prosperous businesses in the Gallente territories. We have been monitoring them closely, along with our allies within the Gallente Federation, and our secret agents have begun tracing the movements of one such Khanid businessman. He is currently on a pleasure cruise along with his family in Yulai, which is a neutral system located inside the Gallente territories. He probably expects CONCORD to ensure his safety, but if we strike fast and hard we can avoid an unneccessary confrontation with the CONCORD police.

If you haven't guessed it by now, we want you to conduct the covert operation to destroy this convoy, along with all of the passengers.

A word of warning though, this particular Khanid businessman is no small fish, he's a powerful nobleman that has made quite a name of himself in the inner circles of the Kingdom. He will no doubt have a sizable mercenary escort team backing him up, and will be closely monitored by the Khanid secret service.

This is an important mission, which will have significant impact on your faction standings.
