10:48pm 2007 Wednesday 2nd May 2007 But has anyone figured out which ship ends teh misison in the fifth wave. In the serpentis version, it seems that ANY of the high end ships that remain will end the mission: i.e., any of the 4 High Captains or the other high end ship left (whatever it may be). So far, in the last wave, I have been able to kill the other smaller ships, and leave teh 5 remaining high-end ships alive so the mission will respawn after DT.

4:03am 2007 Tuesday 3rd April 2007 I got a different faction. They were all Corpiom something or Corpii. The ones with Elder in front of the name were pretty well armor tanked... I'd say my damage was reduced by a factor of 6 with those.

The best damage i could do was with EM. But since they only hit at close range, tank was not an issue, plus there was rock formation you could warp to if in trouble.

Very nice mission, 5 mil just in bounty. I have tons of cans floating in space now, let's grab my salvaging ship...

Apparently there's a trick to not triggering additional spawns. If you leave one of each type alive in a spawn, the next spawn shouldn't trigger. Don't know if it's true and they all sort mixed together anyway, so I couldn't test that.

Rough mission, but worth it for the bounties.

Mission Briefing:

Pirates have set up a blockade near a hidden stargate in Iges, and are swarming over any passersby, which are mostly merchants and civilians. Pirates tend to create these temporary blockades at ill-defended stargates, usually ones which have been set up by civilians and are not guarded by our forces. But we still have an obligation to protect the citizens of Fislipesnes. Therefore I want you, Agrias Hellion, to fly to the stargate and eliminate the illegal blockade.

So far I've had 2-3 waves plus original spawn. Around 6-9 Coreli Brutix rats (135K) 3 Thorax rats and a smattering of destroyers.

Still haven't finished it, have killed 15 brutix type rats (squadron leaders etc) and there was another 6 flying around me.

Drones aggro'd whole spawn including new arrivals.

Bored now.

I just received a transmission from reliable sources that the Serpentis is planning a raid
somewhere within ***. We know that they will strike sometime in the next 24 hours but
that's about it. Now we'd like to be ready for them, we've already organized a few teams of
mercenaries who are supposed to guard checkpoints near every stargate of this system, to
insure that the pirates won't slip past us. I'd like you to set up a blockade near one of these
checkpoints, ***. Gather everyone you can muster, I expect you to hold the area against
any hostile ship that gets through that stargate. I'm counting on you!
