Item database has been updated to the latest CCP export [from 2007-12-04]. Thanks to games.chruker.dk for the mysql version.

Also images/icons has updated too. Please report broken icons/images here

Please take a look at new design of new eveinfo.

It’s just preview - when site engine goes stable stage - rest of current features will be migrated to new engine.

This is a new look and site engine is core of new mission database system.

I will develop public accessible mission editor - hop it will helps our community kept mission data fresh and updated.

Sorry for everyone who posts missions data at our forum and doesn’t seen it at our database. This situation caused by some technical difficult and human factor. Everything will changes soon…

[eve-online press release - Rigs]
A Rig is a new addition to the game, which allows players to modify the performance of their ship by adding Rigs to it.’ So basically it works like an implant for your ship. It follows much the same rules – there are fixed slots for them, only one of each type, once you insert a Rig into your ship you cannot remove it again and all Rigs are destroyed when the ship is destroyed.

We also wanted to improve loot in general, so we finally went ahead and exchanged that pristine can that drops for a proper wrecked ship. That shipwreck is now salvage-able, where you will find scraps of components required to create Rigs, the new ship upgrades which currently have a heavy defensive focus.
