Mission briefing Shortly after you left the settlement we ordered you to investigate in your last mission, we noticed a group of ships warp to the area. They left in a hurry, probably after they discovered the wreckage of the hostiles you destroyed. I still have a trace on these UFOs, and I would like you to intercept them before they enter deadspace.

It so happens that one of our surveillance teams has been tracking these guys for a few days. They didn't expect them to be a part of the brigands attacking our settlements, but with this new evidence we are quite sure that there is a connection.

Using the data our surveillance team has acquired, the hostiles should arrive at a certain deadspace area in Vaere in a few minutes. Please warp to the acceleration gate leading into it immediately, and wait for their arrival. When they arrive, destroy them, and bring any survivors back to me.

1:05pm 2006 Friday 27th October 2006 "Mercenary Interseptor" is a real-name of NPC,
but they have type, type you can see from Scanner or Bounty

in NPC-Db we have types, not real-names
5:31pm 2006 Thursday 26th October 2006 When I did this mission, there were the 3/4 Merc fighters, but the main ship was a Mercenary Interceptor. Maybe this is new with a patch, as Eve Explorer doesn't list this in its Rats database. It webbed me and circled from 7-8km at about 450m/s. Took ages to get down with EM missiles and railguns, had to warp back to base and get Anti-matter ammo for the guns.
