8:16pm 2007 Friday 13th April 2007 The mission is not hard but the dampeners are a pain in the ass.
I'd suggest using heavy tank with close range weapons... take out the guardians first...

took me a bit more then an hour with typhoon:

Low slots:

Ugh.

It's important to note that the Vice Admirals and Flotilla Admirals also do sensor dampening... just to give you one more "surprise".

Took me 2.5 hours in a domi... but hey... all tank and no spank takes a while =)

One thing I will say... this is a very profitable mission. Approx 20M in bounties and reward (and bonus) plus loot, plus salvage.

Yeah... it's worthwhile.

6:38pm 2007 Thursday 11th January 2007 Easy deal with Myrmidon - Heavy Drones, 2x Sensor Booster II and 11,5 Million SP. A Drone Augmentor keeps the BC at a good save distance and the drones eat the spwans. Last spwan's frigs webbed and scrambled due beeing forced to get afk [an unexpected reallife anomaly *;-)] but ... Meditation Repper active, camping, return from afk and watching drones while corp chatting.

Fly strong skilled and may the DNA be with you.

7:07am 2006 Wednesday 20th December 2006 Signed on the sensor dampening.

The first wave was fine, but after that wave is dead waves 2,3 and 4 arrive all at once and contain 6 sensor dampening cruisers. I was in a Mega with 2x Active (55%) sensor boosters and my max targeting range was still often under 25km.

I took out the dampening cruisers first - went back to base to change out the boosters and then went back to finish off the other ships.

this is post Kali and this mission was totally different than described. Instead of the 4 Mio bounty it was 17 Mio :-)

Mission Briefing:
Pirates have set up a blockade near a hidden stargate in Halle, and are swarming over any passersby, which are mostly merchants and civilians. Pirates tend to create these temporary blockades at ill-defended stargates, usually ones which have been set up by civilians and are not guarded by our forces. But we still have an obligation to protect the citizens of Osnins. Therefore I want you, Starbringer, to fly to the stargate and eliminate the illegal blockade.

It was 5 waves of rats, with a Domi absolutely no problem. A lot of sensor dampening, without booster you rarely get any lock.

as the waves came in before I had all in the prev wave eliminated, I'm not 100% sure about the exact distribution in the waves. The total is correct

I just received a transmission from reliable sources that the Serpentis is planning a raid somewhere within <system>. We know that they will strike sometime in the next 24 hours but that's about it. Now we'd like to be ready for them, we've already organized a few teams of mercenaries who are supposed to guard checkpoints near every stargate of this system, to insure that the pirates won't slip past us. I'd like you to set up a blockade near one of these checkpoints, <pilot>. Gather everyone you can muster, I expect you to hold the area against any hostile ship that gets through that stargate. I'm counting on you!
