Mission Name : Pirate Invasion
Agent Level : 4
Enemy : Angel Cartel
Mission Type : DeadSpace

Link : http://eveinfo.com/missions/320

Briefing :
We received a report just a couple hours ago from our secret agents that revealed plans by our enemies to make a sneak attack against us in this very system! We believe this plan will take effect in a matter of minutes, as our surveillance teams have spotted a number of their ships mobilizing inside ***. I personally received a message from our esteemed CEO, to send my most trusted contacts against these scoundrels, and so I ask you ***, are you up to it? All I need you to do is infiltrate an areas swarming with the pirates and destroy all of the hostile ships you encounter, my other clients will take care of the rest. This will hopefully deter them from any further mobilization within ***.

Please post your impressions about this mission. Also you can post (share) your views, hints, tips, tactics and etc..

Either there's 2 off these missions or the info is a way off. The screeny is more or less correct, but there are only 3 agressing spawns. The 1 where you warp in with (to the right in the pic):
1 Gistatis Tribuni
1 Gistatis Primus
2 Gistum Marauder
2 Gistior Defacer
1 Gistum Liquidator
1 Gistior Shatterer
2 Arch Gistii Rogue

Second spawn (the 2 in the left off pic):
1 Gist commander
1 gist general
2 gistum centurion
1 gistum Phalax
3 gistior shatterer
2 gistii impaler
2 arch gistii rogue
2 gistii ambusher
3 gisior haunter
1 gistii raider

Third spawn (centre and top pic) and this 1 is very nasty:
6 gist general
1 gist war general
1 gist commander
3 gistatis primus
2 gistatis legionaire
3 gistum phalax
2 gistum centurion

I agree, the info for this mission is way off. I don't know if it was caused by RMR or what. I'm not sure if darkd's info is correct but it looks close to what I encountered.

1 x Gistior Defacer

2 x Gist Commander

Group 4:
2 x Gistum Centurion
3 x Gistum Phalanx
2 x Gist Commander
2 x Gist General

Same here. I accomplished that mission with a BRUTIX. Not that hard with the right tactics and fittings but also not really easy. You get lots of agro when you start war.

Here are the 4 rat groups in the latest format:

1:Gistior Defacer 2
Gistior Shatterer 1
Gistum Liquidator 2
Arch Gistii Rogue 1
Gistatis Primus 2
Gistum Marauder 1
Arch Gistii Hijacker 1

2:Gistii Impaler 2
Gistii Raider 1
Gistii Ambusher 2
Gistum Centurion 3
Gist Commander 1
Gist General 1
Gistior Shatterer 2
Gistior Defacer 3
Arch Gistii Rogue 1
Arch Gistii Hijacker 1

3: Gistatis Legionnaire 3
Gistatis Primus 2
Gist Commander 2
Gist War General 1

4: Gistum Centurion 3
Gistum Phalanx 2
Gist General 4
Gist Commander 1

Note that a few of the groups agro'd all at once, and group 2 had a side group of frigs/destroyers that was likely a fifth group.

The mission briefing for this reads: "Go out there and destroy every last one of them" However, I found that after destroying the group at the warp-in point, the group by the Amarr Commercial Station Ruins, and the group by the Amarr Military Station Ruins, there were still 2 groups in the distance remaining, but the mission was flagged as complete. So, really, only 3 of the five groups are necessary to finish the mission.

I think everyone's aware you fly a brutix, so for all our sanity please don't mention it again Confused

I went in with my tanked zealot to check if what type NPC they where, cause the mission text didn't tell ...
My Zealot could tank nice, but was warp scrambled ...
So I killed some, then more on me and I had to wait and see my Zealot fully distroyed. My arm still hurts from trying to warp ...

Fanta

PS EM from lasers didn't hurt them to much Rolling Eyes

I'm not sure if I got the same mission as you guys because as soon as I got into the pocket, 15+ battleships and other rats spawned and aggro'ed me at once. Despite a full set of hardeners and having two large repper IIs active, it took them less than one minute to chew through my armor tank. How do you people do it?
