Well I finally got around to trying EVE. I had to quit at the start in the tutorial, I knew I should have just not started the game and got what I needed to do outside done, then played the game. Well I get in the game again, amazed at the game being a space sci fi fan, and I am being told that I "Must warp the the Deadspace Complex for training". End up warping and jumping around FOR 2 HOURS, came back to a rookie system, and I still can't find this. No offense to EVE creators, I know EVE isn't a simple MMORPG like WOW, but if you want us to do the tutorials, the way point should be stored and the game should tell us. I was told by players to go to the wiki and read. Ok kind of some help, but for a complete newbie, some just simple step by step would have helped. I figure out that deadspace zones are marked by beacons but I can't find one.

I liked EVE from what I saw of it, truely epic space based MMORPG, but this glaring lack of design for the intro tutorials is silly. Maybe I have missed something and it may just be me, but if you are going to get newbies into any game, MMORPG or not, a tutorial, when you come back into the game the tutorial should "just be there" to pick up. THEN after that, let us go out in the wild. I am disappointed at EVE due to the this, I want to try to play this as I have played Ogame (web based space game) but Ogame wasn't that great, and EVE looks nice. If I can't get some real help on this, I will just leave EVE alone. Comments? Tomatoes to throw?

Well, i found that the tutorial could be a bit challenging if you exit it at any given time and you almost need one to navigate it itself. i will help the best i can but my info is iffy since i have not played in quiet some time and i have not played the tutorial in a while either (currently away from home)
but here it goes.
After you do all the stuff in side the hanger and undock from the station they start talking about moving and all that jazz. when it comes time for you to warp to the dead space complex you get lost... if im not mistaken there should be a bookmark in your mission log book. you can get to it by opening your log book then opening the details for that mission. i could be wrong. if there is not one there try right clicking the screen and there should be a option for.... dang cant remember here is what i would suggest.
A. start the tutorial over by either creating a new character or choosing it in the options. speaking of witch the tutorial is kind of pointless and you can pick what part you want to do. you can just jump back in the tutorial to a point you are more familar with and it will bring you to were you need to go.
B. wait till i get back in the US (3-4 weeks) and i will run the tutorial so i can refresh my memory.
C. skip the intro all togeather over time you can learn it without

Eve is a great game the diversity and detail in the game are incredible. you will be happy with the game if you can weather threw the tutorial...i had same issue as you and skiped it and learned everthing as i went. just make sure not to disable it cause it will kick up from time to time to help you with new things....
again my info on it is old and i may be wrong if you still have a issue with it give me time to get back home and i will help the best i can.
have fun flying.

The 14 day trial, the tutorial starts and I am in space, near an asteroid. I think I just need to recreate my character. I am going to do that. Noting my bookmarks or whatever. I really want to try this game. Thanks.

Most players do the 10 mission tutorial in 24 hours, so you must have missed something.
Just open your journal and open the mission info witch should be green, you have taking it.
Right click the destination that stands in the mission and warp to location, finish the mission and go to tutorial agent, next on.
