I want to try to speed up my learning of skills. Is it possible to use the Remap Option to speed up my learning. If so what would be the best settings. please. ??

Sorry you are correct realy vague. 
I Enjoy being a miner and that is the career I want to follow.
Mining Ore/Ice / Industrial
Hope you can help with remap,possibly help with training suggestions.

If that is what you enjoy, then I am sure you know what skills you want to train up to get good at it.
As such, download Evemon from http://evemon.battleclinic.com/ (get the latest binary snapshots). Run it and create a new skill plan. Then, at the top of the skillplan you will see a button that says "Optimize attributes". Click it to see what attribute distribution will allow you to train the skills the fastest.
You can only remap attributes every 12 months. So, make sure you create a long skillplan that contains all the skills you are interested in learning (not just primary skills, but support skills as well).
